Eileen Gilbertson

    Eileen Josie Skov Gilbertson, 77, of Parma, died Friday, December 6,1991, at a Caldwell hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 10, 1991, at Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Pastor Walter C. Rice of Faith Lutheran Church will officiate. Interment will follow at the Wilder Cemetery, Wilder.
    Mrs. Gilbertson was born March 19, 1913, at Sioux City, Iowa, the daughter of Maurice and Mary C. Skov. She was raised and educated at Irene, S. Dakota and married Roy Gilbertson at Yankton, S. Dakota, September 23, 1931. They came to Wilder in 1936 where they farmed until 1972.  
    They moved to Caldwell where they lived for a number of years and in 1985 moved to Parma where they have since resided.
    Mrs. Gilbertson was active in Senior Citizens organizations and enjoyed gardening, fishing and camping. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Caldwell.
    Surviving her are her husband, Roy of Parma; six sons, James of Caldwell, Gerald of Boise, Larry of Meridian, Leland of Nampa, Lyndell of Parma, and Roger of San Diego, California; two daughters, Eunice Helzer of Boise and Renae Miller of Bothel, Washington; twenty-four grandchildren and twenty-seven great-grandchildren.
