Donald Jenkins

    Services for Donald S. Jenkins, 84, Wasco, Calif., formerly of Parma, who died Monday, May 28, at a Wasco Hospital, Calif., of natural causes, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, June 1, at the Dakan Funeral Chapel, Parma, by Larry Ragains of Parma.  Interment will follow at the Parma Cemetery.
    He was born Jan. 30, 1900, at Williamstown, Mo., to Charlie D. and Lucy L. Ramsey Jenkins.  He moved to Idaho with his family in 1910.  He attended school at Roswell and graduated from Roswell High School.  He married Julia Watkins Oct. 5, 1927 at Parma.  He was employed as a fruit and vegetable inspector for the states of Idaho and California for most of his life.  They moved to California in 1947.
    Survivors include his wife of  Wasco, Calif.; three daughters, Joyce Johnson of Sacramento, Calif., Helen Duke of Bakersfield, Calif., Barbara Burkman of Pocatello; one brother, Merle Jenkins of Parma; two sisters, Doris Herron of Caldwell, Della Brooks of Cheney, Wash.; nine grand-children; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Perry and Ernest.
