Dollie Fulcher

Dollie Maurine Davis Fulcher, 86, of Roswell, Idaho, went to be with our Lord on Jan. 26, 1997, in a Caldwell hospital.  Graveside services were conducted at 10;30 a.m., Monday, Jan. 27, 1997, at Roswell Cemetery.  Pastor Doug Gorsuch officiated.  Services are under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
Dollie was born Dec. 4, 1910, the 8th of 9 children born to Edward and Eva Davis in Plaino, Quay Co., New Mexico, the first pioneering family in the area. She had four brothers, Earl, Ralph, Darl, and Raymond, and three sisters, May, Esther and Blanche.  She also had a half sister, Katie.  All have preceded Dollie in death.
Dollie married Davis Henry Fulcher on Sept. 14, 1929 in Clovis, New Mexico. He preceded her in death in 1978.  They moved to the Roswell, Idaho, area in 1969.
Dollie was a member of the Roswell Baptist Church. She devoted her life in loving care to her very large family.  She and her husband were avid rock hounds and loved to hunt fish and garden together.  Dollie will be lovingly remembered for her beautiful crocheted items which she would make for every child born and for the best "burnt sugar" pies ever made.
