Clarence Jenkins,
77, of Wilder, died Saturday, January 11, 1997, at a
Caldwell
hospital of natural causes. Graveside
services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, January 16, 1997,
at the Wilder
Cemetery.
Pastor James Jefferies
of Calvary Holiness Church,
Wilder, will officiate. Services
are under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
Family and friends are
asked to gather at the cemetery.
Mr. Jenkins was
born April 3, 1919, at
Forsyth, Missouri, to Joe and Ola Jenkins.
He was reared and
educated in the Arena Valley Community near Wilder.
Clarence spent part
of his young life in
California
driving logging trucks and later came back to Wilder to make
his home. He farmed
and was foreman for the Wilder Irrigation District, Boise
Board of Control for 17 years until his retirement.
He is survived by
his wife, Betty Jenkins of Wilder; 4 daughters, Faye Wiley of
Washington D.C., Carol Hobson of Emmett, Marty Baker and
Elaine Carlson of Caldwell; 2 sons, Larry Jenkins of Emmett
and David Jenkins of Lake Owyhee, OR; 2 sisters, Larene
Geisler of Idaho Falls
and Gladys Warren of Roseburg, OR., several grandchildren and
great-grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents, and 4
brothers.
