Carl Heil

    Graveside services for Carl Heil, 67, of Parma, who died Wednesday, Nov. 19, at home of natural causes, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Parma Cemetery, under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Parma.
    Mr. Heil was born May 20, 1919, at Baird, Neb., to Karl and Katheryn Heil.  At the age of 12, he moved with his parents to Orland, Wyo.
    He married Millie Wegele, Dec. 13, 1936, at Harrisburg, Neb.  They farmed at Yoder, Wyo., later moving to Torrington, Wyo., where he worked at a sugar factory.  They then moved to Cheyenne, Wyo., where he worked for the Union Pacific Raillroad (sic) and then as a guard for United Airlines.
     He then worked as a conductor for the Colorado Southern Railroad from 1955 until his retirement in 1969.
    They came in February 1974 to Parma, where they had since resided.
    He was a member of the National Rifle Association.
    He is survived by his wife of Parma; a son, Carl Lewis Heil of Parma; a daughter, Judy AeLeon of Boise; three sisters, Esther Hauf of Cheyenne, Irene Hauf of Torrington, and Emma Schwartzkophff of Torrington; a brother, Alex, of Torrington; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
    He was preceded in death. by two sons, a brother, and a sister.
    Friends may call at the Parma Dakan chapel today from 4 p.m., to 6 p.m.
