Catherine Hara

    Services for Catherine Hara, 63, Winchester Bay, Ore., formerly of Parma, who died Thursday, July 7, in Oregon, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at the Dakan Funeral Chapel in Parma with the Rev. Leo W. Reed of the First Baptist Church of Nampa officiating.
    Interment will follow at the Wilder Cemetery.  
    She was born July 27, 1919, in Great Falls, Mont., the daughter of Julius L. Turnbull and Tressea L. Oelies.  The family moved to Homedale when she was a young girl.  She received her education in Parma.  She married George M. Hara on Nov. 25, 1966, in Payette.  They farmed in the Parma area until their retirement in July of 1982. During the years of their marriage, they were able to travel extensively and retired in Winchester Bay.  
    She was an avid fisherwoman and a talented seamstress.  She also enjoyed gardening, crocheting and embroidery.
    She is survived by her husband, of Winchester Bay; two sons, Jimmy Ray Turnbull of Kemmerer, Wyo., and Kenneth Leroy Pate of Boise; a daughter, Mrs. Beorge(sic?) (Bonnie) Bell of Nampa; a brother, Earl Turnbull of Reedsport, Ore.; a sister, Evelyn Fayne of Wilder; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren ; and numerous nieces and nephews.  
    She was preceded in death by her Parents and two sisters.
    Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
    Friends may call at the Parma Chapel Tuesday from 12 to 1
