Carrie M. Winslow

    CALDWELL - Services for Carrie M. Winslow, 75, of 602 Fillmore St., Caldwell, who died Tuesday in a Caldwell nursing home, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell, by the Revs. Clair Willcuts of Meridian Friends Church and Willard Black of Caldwell Friends Church. Interment will follow in Greenleaf Cemetery, Greenleaf.
    She was born July 30, 1905 in Jewell County, Kan., to William and Myrtle Aubushon. She was reared and educated in Red Cloud Neb. She married Verlin W. Winlsow on March 21, 1923 in Mankato, Kan. They farmed in Jewell County until 1942, when they moved to Greenleaf, where they farmed. They moved to Caldwell in 1960.
    She worked at RB Market, Pollard's Restaurant, J. R. Simplot Co., MW Market and Sears Roebuck Co., all in Caldwell.
    She was a member of Greenleaf Friends Church.
    Survivors include her husband of Caldwell; four sons, Elton of Caldwell, Elvin of Medical Lake, Wash., and Jack and Gary, both of Boise; three sisters, Theda McIndoo of Nampa, Viola Crumbley (sic-Crumley) of Red Cloud and Irene Skelly of Payette; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by a sister.
    Memorials may be made to Greenleaf Friend Academy or to Greenleaf or Caldwell Friends churches.
    Friends may call Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell, today from 6 to 9 p.m. Pallbearers will be Cecil McIndoo, Phil Skelly and Paul, Neil, Arden and Bill Horton.
