Services for Creta M.
Hargis, 68, of New Plymouth, who died Tuesday, July 22, in a
Boise hospital of natural causes will be held at 10 a.m.
Saturday, in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
with Bishop Carl Moss officiating.
Burial will follow in the Middleton Cemetery under
direction of Shaffer-Jensen Chapel of New Plymouth.
Mrs. Hargis, a retired Ore-Ida foods employee, was born
Jan. 9, 1918, at Stockton, Kan., to Samuel and Bertha Beckley.
She was reared and educated in Kansas and Missouri.
In the 1930's she moved to Inkom, Idaho, and in 1963, she
moved to New Plymouth. She had worked a number of years for
Ore-Ida Foods of Ontario, Ore.
She was a member of the Church Of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints of New Plymouth.
She is survived by four sons, Wilkin Jones of Fairbanks,
Alaska, Brent Jones of New Plymouth, Byron Weiss of Kettle
Falls. Wash. and Daniel Weiss of Boring, Ore,; two daughters,
Susan Dudley of New Plymouth and Rebecca Sage of Richfield,
Idaho; two brothers, Wilbur Beckley of Yakima, Wash., and
Delber Beckley of Rexburg, Idaho; four sisters, Hazel Hebert
of New Plymouth, Beulah Fowler of Inkom and Dorothy Cardon of
Caldwell, and Dorma Nelson of Fairbanks; 16 grandchildren: and
four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Aubury
Jones, and a great-granddaughter, Heather Orr.

Shaffer-Jensen Chapel, New Plymouth. |
