Claude C. Huckabee 80,
passed away peacefully, Saturday, June 18, 1994, at Roe's
Country Manor, Homedale, Idaho.
Graveside services will be conducted at the Wilder
Cemetery at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 22, 1994, under the
direction of Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Homedale, Idaho. Rev.
Frank Prince of the Free Holiness Church, Wilder, Idaho, and
Rev. James Jeffries of Calvary Holiness Church, Wilder, will
officiate.
Claude C. Huckabee was born on February, 13, 191 4, at
Marshall, Arkansas, a son of Willy and Stella Huckabee. He
was united in marriage to Cenith N. Corn on November 30, 1940,
at Harriett, Arkansas.
Claude worked for Merrill's Machine and Welding Shop in
Parma for 20 years.
Claude was an avid sportsman and a member of the Rod and
Gun Club. Before his health failed, he enjoyed hunting,
fishing and exploring the Idaho wilderness with his family and
many friends. Claude was a good and loving husband, father,
grandfather and friend. He had a real love and concern for
the forests and land of his beloved Idaho.
He is survived by his wife, Cenith of Homedale; his
daughters and sons-in-law, Bob and Mary Sue Ensley of Homedale
and Clauda and Dan Fortensky of Osburn, Idaho; five
grandchildren and spouses, Jona Sue and Doug Kophamer, Bobbie
and Jim Ferguson, Kevin and Ruth Ann Ensley, Chris Fortensky
and Chad Fortensky; and eleven great-grandchildren. He is
also survived by his brother and sister-in-law, John and Elsie
Huckabee; his sister, Ruby Martin; his sister and
brother-in-law, Mary and Bill Tilley; his sister, Willodean
Stills; and sister-in-law, Betty Huckabee .
He was preceded in death by an infant granddaughter,
Linda; two brothers, Clyde and Bill Huckabee; a sister, Edna;
and his mother and father. |
