Consuelo Franks

    Graveside services for Consuelo "Connie" Bicandi Franks, 63, of Mountain Home, who died Thursday, Feb. 12, in a Mountain Home nursing home of natural causes, will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at the wilder Cemetery.
    Father Mark Schumacher will officiate under the direction of Humpherys Funeral Home, Mountain Home.
    Mrs. Franks, a homemaker, was born June 30, 1923, at Barber, Idaho, to Ciriaco and Maria Cruz Aguirre Bicandi.  She was reared and educated in Nampa.
    She entered the U.S. Navy, serving with the Waves, during World War II.  She worked for Dr. J. P. Finck in Caldwell.
    She married Ernest Pete Franks on July 25, 1947, at Caldwell.  They farmed in the Marsing and Adrian areas, and moved to Mountain Home in 1970.  Mr. Franks died in March of 1984.
    Mrs. Franks loved music and dancing.
    She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Dick and Chris Franks of Ontario, John "Pud" and Kathy Franks of Payette and Stan and Brenda Franks of Mountain Home; three brothers, Luke Bicandi of Caldwell, Angel Bicandi of Homedale and John Bicandi of Marsing; two sisters, Pilar Bates of Ontario and Marie Badiola of Caldwell; and six grandchildren, Karla, Jennifer, Angela, Ciriaco, Heidi and Jodi.
    In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, two nieces and a nephew.
    Friends may call today from 5 to 7 p.m. at Humpherys Funeral Home in Mountain Home.
