Bert Gibson

    CALDWELL – Services for Bert Gibson, 82, Caldwell, who died Sunday, were conducted this afternoon at Dakan Funeral Chapel.  Interment was at Knowlton Heights Cemetery.
    Among the survivors is a daughter, Wanda Zirkle of Oregon City, Ore.

Burt Gibson

     CALDWELL - Burt Gibson, 82, of Caldwell, died Sunday in the home of a niece, Mrs. Tom Rayne of Route 5, Nampa.
    Mr. Gibson was born Jan. 6, 1891, in Harney County, Ore.  He was a disabled veteran of World War I.  He lived most of his life and reared his family in the Knowlton Heights community, southwest of Caldwell.  He was a custom harvester and worked in the Gem, Deer Flat and Lake Lowell areas until he retired four years ago and moved to Caldwell.
    Surviving are four daughters, Mars. Alberta Tucker of Beaver Creek, Ore., Mrs. Sylvia Cunningham and Mrs. Alice Eels, both of Oregon City, Ore., and Mrs. Irene Bush of Long Beach, Calif.; two half-brothers, Lynn Gibson of Stanfield, Ore., and Carl Gibson of Prineville, Ore.; 15 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
    Services will be conducted at Dakan Funeral Chapel at 2 p.m. Wednesday by Delbert Cunningham of the Followers of Christ of Boise.  Interment will be at Knowlton Heights.
