Funeral services for Beulah
G. Hadsall, 99 of Middleton who died Dec. 25, at a Caldwell
hospital will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the United
Methodist Church in Middleton by Rev. Charles Chase of the
Church. Interment will follow at the Middleton Cemetery under
the direction of Flahiff Funeral Chapel Caldwell.
She was born on Oct. 26. 1883, at Ashland, Neb. She moved
to Colorado at the age of 4. In 1894, she moved with her
family by covered wagon to the Middleton area where she has
lived since that time. She attended schools in Middleton.
She contracted polio when she was 12 years old. She went to
work for Mountain Bell Telephone Co. in 1911. She retired in
1938 as an operator. She was the oldest retired Mountain Bell
employee for which Mountain Bell honored her with a dinner
last year. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in
Middleton, the indoor sports club of the Treasure Valley, and
she was active in community affairs.
She is survived by two sisters, Murnie Walker of Seattle,
Wash., Ona Foote of Middleton; eight nieces and four nephews,
two sisters-in-law, Frances Hadsall of Middleton and Emma
Hadsall of Denver, Colo. She was preceded in death by her
parents, four brothers and two sisters. Friends may call at
the chapel today between 1 and 6 p.m.
Memorials may be given to the United Methodist Church
