Anita Geisler

    Funeral services for Anita M. Geisler, 73, Parma, who died Saturday, July 14, at a Caldwell nursing home, will be conducted 3 p.m., Monday, at the Kirkpatrick Memorial Community Church, Parma, by the Rev. Paul Evans, of Kirkpatrick Memorial Church.  Interment will follow at the Parma Cemetery under the direction of Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
    She was born June 11, 1911, at Hot Springs, S.D.  She moved to Salt Lake City as a child, and was reared and educated there.  She returned to South Dakota in 1925.
    In 1936, she moved to Payette.  She married Bill Geisler, Dec. 28, 1961, at Winnemucca, Nev.  They lived in Payette until 1963, when they moved to Parma.  They owned and operated the Canyon Club and Cafe in Parma since that time.
    She is survived by her husband of Parma; a son, Don Merrill, Touchet, Wash.; and a daughter, Lorine Stephens, La Grande, Ore.; a brother, Bill Gooden, Spokane, Wash.; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; a niece and two nephews.
    She was preceded in death by a son.
    Friends may call at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell, Sunday from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m., and Monday from 9 a.m. until noon.
