Amos Finley
    Services for Amos Francis Finley, 82, of Caldwell Route 2, who died Tuesday, May, 1t home, will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Friday at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.  Officiating will be the Rev. Robert R. Geyer of Caldwell.  Interment will follow in the Greenleaf Cemetery.
    Mr. Finley was born Jan. 13, 1902, in St. Louis, Mo., to Harry and Iva Amos Finley.  In 1904 he moved with his parents to the Greenhurst Community South of Nampa.  He attended schools in Nampa and was a graduate of Nampa High School and Links School of Business.
    As a young adult he worked for Jensma Creamery of Nampa, served as a volunteer fireman and later went into business with his father with Finley Advertising, an outdoor billboard advertising business.  They sold the business to Cosgriff in 1949.
    He served with the 113th Naval Construction Battalion from 1943 until 1946 and spent time in the South Pacific building harbors.  He married Lola M. Daniel on May 14, 1948, in Nampa, and the couple resided there five years.  They then moved to Hope, Idaho, where he was active in community affairs and instrumental in the construction of the Clark Fork Lutheral (sic) Church.  In 1961 they returned to the Boise Valley and have resided in the Pleasant Ridge Community for the past 11 years.
    He is survived by his wife, Lola of Caldwell; a daughter, Arlyn Rodriguez of Boise; a sister, Betty Joanne Collins of Ashland, Mass.; a grandson, Cody White of Boise and two nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Virginia Caywood.
    Friends may call at the Flahiff chapel in Caldwell today from 2 until 8 p.m., and Friday from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
