Rosary for Albina E. Kalousek, 85, of 323 22nd Ave. S.,
Nampa, who died Monday in a
Nampa nursing home, will be recited at 8 p.m.
Wednesday at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Nampa. Mass
will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Catholic
Church, Nampa, by the Rev. Merle J. Fisher, S.M.
Interment will be in
Mt.
Calvary
Cemetery,
Nampa.
She
was born Dec. 16, 1894, in Czechoslovakia, and moved to the United States
in 1904. She was
reared in North Dakota.
She married John
Martin Kalousek on July 14, 1914, in
North Dakota.
They moved in 1920 to
Buhl and in 1930 to rural
Nampa, where they farmed.
They retired in 1944
and moved into Nampa.
He died in September
1961. She was a member
of St. Paul's Catholic Church and a former member
of the Holy Name Society.
She is survived by two sons, Albert of Nampa and Laudie
of Boise; two stepsons, George of Lakewood, Colo., and Frank
of Fallon, Nev.; three daughters. Margaret Cashman of
Caldwell, Clara Scott of Salem, Ore., and Hattie Hall of
Upland, Calif.; three stepdaughters, Bertha Orr of Jerome,
Mary Stimpson and Julie Miller, both of San Leandro, Calif.;
three sisters, Kathryn Shurkey of Dickinson, N.D., Lillian
Johnson of Oakland, Calif., and Theresa Kilwein of Vancouver,
Wash.; 12 grandchildren; 14 stepgrandchildren; 30
great-grandchildren; several stepgreat-grandchildren; a
great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in
death by two sons, John and Robert, a stepdaughter, Ross
Gambril, three brothers, two sisters, a grandchild and three
stepgrandchildren.
