Lowrey who was a student along with his two sisters Edna and Vida. My gf and gm homesteaded to Idaho in early 1900's. The sisters became missionary teachers in mainland China and led very fascinating lives. I have little info on them at this time in their lives and hope you could help put me in the right direction. His parents were John W. Carter and Sarah Campbell.
He imigrated to Page County, Iowa and is shown living
with his older brother James in the 1880 census.
Lost track of Samuel after that.
James moved on to Cambridge, Nebraska but I do not find
Samuel there.

(aka C. E. Bruce) 1875 and secondly to William Hercules
Ryan in 1877, was returned for burial in Page County.
Her name was Martha Jane Cox aka Jennie E. Cox.

Carolyn Laurabell (sp?) Cutter, was born in Shenanndoah, Iowa around
1920. Her mother was Gladys Bond(sp?)Gaston-Cutter, and her father was
