We don't know if Elonzo/Alonzo was married 2nd to Kezia ELLIS of Braddyville,
[Headstone says "Wife of Elonzo ELLIS"] no marriage record found?
by this writer. We can't find Kezia ELLIS in the 1870 (she died in 1871) Census, but Alonzo, age 62yrs
was living with son Dewitt C., in Washington Twp., and listed he was "Divorced" which is consistant "Divorced"
in the 1880, & 1900 Census. ..prs |

I am searching for Samuel and his wife Mary ELLIS of Dewitt, Onondaga County New York.
Samuel was born 5-20-1775 and Mary was born 9-3-1775. They had 10 children,
two of which were twins. My second great-grand-father Elonzo ELLIS was one of the twins.
The other was Eliza. They were born 2-15-1813. I found this info at a library in
Syracuse, New York last fall when I was there. A lady named Mrs. W. F. Hamberger
had taken it from the family Bible. She wrote that she is the great grand daughter of
Elonzo's father Samuel ELLIS. I have other info if this sounds familar to any one.
