ODEBOLT AREA SERVICEMEN LOST IN WORLD WAR I

George J. Bihrer of Odebolt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Bihrer of Odebolt, was born in 1893 and enlisted at Sac City, July 16, 1918, and first served with Co. H. 14th Inf. Repl. Ban.at Camp Gordon, GA.  He also served at Camp Merritt, NJ, with Auto Repl. Draft Co. No. 6.  He sailed overseas September 18, 1918, and died October 10, 1918 of pneumonia at Base Hospital No. 65, Brest, France.  He was buried in A.E.F. cemetery No. 531 at Lambezellee.
