Burials at Blue Grass Cemetery, Scott Co. IA
Some Muscatine families stretched across into Scott County and Sandra
Tennyson has offered to check the records of the Blue Grass Cemetery in
Blue Grass for burials. (I know at least one person already found several
"Muscatine" family members buried there). Sandra DOES travel some so if
you don't receive an answer right away, don't panic. She WILL get to you
when she is at home! Her family are the caretakers of the cemetery so you'll
be getting the information directly from the cemetery records! Please limit
requests to one surname at a time please!

DEATH
FAMILY GENEALOGIES
HISTORIES (COUNTY OR REGIONAL)
The Fork In The River: History is People
History and Partial Genealogy of Oakland and Orono Townships
(Louisa and Muscatine County)
by Mable Estle Brown
Note this book is NOT indexed and contains information primarily
regarding the Port Allen and Conesville areas.
Because the book is over 600 pages and not indexed, lookups should
be limited to families you are fairly sure were in this area
between 1850 and 1976, and will take some time to complete.
