GUIDELINES FOR
QUERIES TO MUSSER
Query should be addressed to "LOCAL HISTORY
DEPT" or to Diane Mayer
Written query with specifics preferred
One query at a time please! After you have
gotten response from that one, give them a
chance to breathe before submitting another,
as they are VERY short staffed!
First hour free, $10.00 each additional
hour
Three hours maximum per query due to staff
restraints
After three (3) hours, query referred to
Muscatine County Genealogical Society
Photocopies .25 cents each
Prints from the Grossheim collection are
available for purchase, but most are not yet
indexed. All are black and white. Priced according
to size: $4.00 for 5x7, $5.00 for 8x10.
Please note that whatever size the glass plate
is is the size your print will be. If you want
enlargements etc you will have to pay a local
photographer to do this at additional fee.
Most of the family portraits have not yet been
indexed.
May take a month or longer for reply due
to staffing
