Vesta Irene Martin b. 20 Jan 1915 in Lamoni,
Decatur, IA, dau of Thomas & Alice Woodward Martin; 
married 1st to Francis "Fuzzy" Miner (two sons); 
married 2nd to Irwin DeVore until his death in 1957. 
She later married Otis Nelson (divorced).
Vesta died 18 Jul 1977 in Ft Myers FL 
Buried Conesville Cemetery in Conesville IA.

Vesta was my dad's sister and one of my favorite people.

This is my dad's brother, Thomas Martin, who resided for
some time in Eliza and New Boston IL area.  I am
assuming he worked for Milton Kauffman and that's
why he is pictured with the truck.

married Denia Margaret Krantz 16 May 1939
Thomas died 15 Oct 1998 and is buried at
Indian Creek Cemetery near Fredonia, Louisa, IA.

Denia Margaret Krantz, his wife, was born 12 Jan 1920 in
Buffalo Prairie, Rock Island, IL, daughter of Henry and Mary Alice Wilkonson Krantz.  She passed away on 
05 Jul 1999 and is also buried at Indian Creek Cemetery.
