Note: As of January 1, 2007, the Louisa County Genealogical Society became a committee within the Louisa County Historical Society and no longer maintains separate memberships. We will continue to have informal round table discussions without officers or dues and will continue to maintain the library within the Heritage Center in Wapello, thus the word Society has been replaced by the word Committee. This webpage, message board and mailing list will be maintained by Norma Jennings  so we can still communicate with one another. Some private research may be done on an individual basis..
