1. Isaac1 Hunt (35) was born between 1720 and 1735. He married Grisell Lord (36), daughter of Ebenezer Lord (188) and Abigail Sherwood (189), on 18 May 1758 at Greenfield County, Connecticut (Marriages, Book 7, unknown title, Fair Haven Records, unknown repository, unknown repository address. Hereinafter cited as Fair Haven Church Records.). He died on 31 Jul 1770 at Stratford, Fairfield, Connecticut.

5. Isaac2 Hunt (37) (Isaac1) was born circa 1764. He married Aminta Lines(?) (38) before 1786. He married Tabitha Ensign (84) between 1786 and 1791. He married Abigail King (85) between 1792 and 1798. He died on 21 Apr 1822 at Sharon, Litchfield County, Connecticut. He was buried after 21 Apr 1822 at Hillside Cemetery, Sharon, Connecticut.

6. William Lord2 Hunt (1) (Isaac1) was born on 12 Feb 1770 at Stratford, Fairfield, Connecticut. He was baptized on 4 Mar 1790. He married Mercy Swift (186) between 1790 and 1798. He married Betsey Calkins (2), daughter of Elijah Calkins (62) and Mehitabel Heath (63), on 3 Mar 1798 at Sharon, Litchfield County, Connecticut. He died on 17 Apr 1843 at age 73. He was buried after 17 Apr 1843 at Evergreen Cemetery, Westmoreland, New York.
He was a tanner, currier. Tombstone in cemetery in Kirkland, NY, reads "Capt. War of 1812". Served at Sacketts Harbor 1812-15. William moved to Columbia Co. from CT in early 1800s where Jacob was born. He moved his family to Westmoreland, NY, in 1813-14. William was a member of the Methodist Church. From Mitchell Hunt 14 Jul 1992: "I have something on him which I published in 1985 in a paper on the Early Hunts of Sharon, CT, and surrounding areas of Litchfield Co. The gist with respect to William: An Isaac Hunt, parents unknown and possibly brother of Gilbert Hunt of North Salem, NY, and possibly both out of the Westchester Co NY Hunts, b. ca 1720-35, m at Greenfield, CT, 1758 Grissell Lord, dau. of Ebenezer and Abigail (prob. Sherwood) Lord, died at Stratford, CT 31 July 1770. The widow Grissell m. 2d Isaac Castle of Woodbury CT and her children were placed under guardianship of others. A son William was b. at Stratfield, CT, 4 Mar 1770, a brother Isaac was b. abt 1764, and other probable siblings were Grissell, Jacob, and Mary. On 8 Dec 1778 at New Milford, CT, Isaac Hunt chose Asahel Noble as his guardian and Noble also was given guardianship of Grissell and Jacob Hunt, "minors not capable of choosing a guardian." The Mary Hunt who m. Timothy Castle 16 May 1780 is presumed to be the other child. The son Isaac Hunt was a prominent citizen of Sharon, CT, had three wives and eight or nine children; his home in Sharon still stands as one of the prominent old houses of the Town, still in use as the headquarters of the Sharon Historical Society. The son William was "bound out at age six" (according to an item in Wyman) m1 Mercy Swift and m2 at Amenia NY 8 Mar 1798 Betsey Calkins, dau. of Elijah Calkins, and settled in Westmoreland NY in 1812. William had three children ("by Mary", i.e. Mercy) and seven by Betsey." N.B.: (Jacob Hunt's biography in History of Oneida Co, NY state that "He was the fourth son and eighth child of Captain William Hunt and Betsey Calkins - the former a native of Vermont, the latter a native of Sharon, Litchfield Co, CT.").

He appeared on the census of 1810 at Columbia County, New York (unknown compiler, 1810 U.S. Census, Population Schedule, Columbia County, New York (No place: no publisher), In 1810 US census William appears in Columbia County, NY, with 2 males under 10, 2 males 10-16, 1 male 26-45, 2 females under 10, 1 female 10-16. 8. Ward Ensign3 Hunt (42) (Isaac2, Isaac1) was born on 10 Aug 1789 at Sharon, Litchfield County, Connecticut. He married Mary Bascomb (86) on 26 Mar 1817 at Bridport, Vermont. He died on 2 Sep 1838 at Perrysburgh, Cattaraugus County, New York, at age 49.
He was a clergyman.

11. Hiram King3 Hunt (97) (Isaac2, Isaac1) was born circa 1800 at Sharon, Litchfield County, Connecticut. He married Martha W. Gilbert (104) on 23 May 1835 at West Haven, Vermont. He died on 4 Feb 1875 at West Haven, Vermont.

He married Mary Smith (66). He married Judith L. Lamberton (52), daughter of Cornelius Lambertson (111) and ______ ______ (112). He died in 1895 at Adams, Jefferson County, New York.
He was Clergyman. Preached at Little Falls, Fulton, Oswego, Lowville, Potsdam, and many other northern New York Churches. "By his first wife he had 3 children of which only one was identified and 'lived to grow up'. By 2d wife he had 5 children of which only two lived to maturity (Mrs Harriet Rosamond Reynolds ... and Isaac Lord Hunt, Atty of Adams NY." (letter of Mitchell Hunt 27 Aug 1992). From Ma rsha Hunt: Mohawk Courier 6 Nov 1845: "Today the children of Rev Isaac Huntof the M.E. Church suffocated in a fire at his home. The children were Isaac William - 3 years, and Almera Louisa - two years.".
