     David Potter was born on 9 April 1851 at Dun, Forfarshire, Scotland.¹ He and Ann Martin were incorrectly shown as married on 7 June 1871 at Guthrie, Forfarshire, Scotland, This does not appear to be our David Potter as the birthplace and birthdate are different.² David Potter died circa 16 March 1886.³ He died on 20 March 1886 at Illinois at age 34.⁴ His estate was probated on 27 March 1886 at Menard County, Illinois. Thomas Potter petitioned the court, "representing that on or about the 16th day of March A.D. 1886, late of the Town of Tallula in the County of Menard and State of Illinois, David Potter departed this life intestate, and, so far as said Pettioner knows or believes or sspects, no Will, Testament Codicil or other Writing relating to the disposal or distribution of the Estate of deceased, or of any part thereof, has been found or discovered by Petitioner or by any person or persons whatever, and this petition further shows that the said David Potter died, seized and possessed of Real and Personal Estate, consisting chiefly of One hundred & sixty acres of land in Ellis County Kansas, Money, Notes and accounts.
All of said personal estate being estimated to be worth about One Thousand dollars. That said deceased left surviving him Alexander Potter, his Father, Charles, Alexander, John and Thomas, Charlotte, Jane, Louisa, Elizabeth Potter, his brothers and sisters, and the heirs of Hellen Barrie a deceased sister, as heirs. That your petitioner being a Brother of said deceased, and believing that the said estate should be immediately administered, as well for the proper management of said Personal Property as for the prompt collection of the assets, by virtue of his right under the Statute He therefore pray that your Honor will grant Letters of Administration to George B. Welsh in the premises upon his taking the oath prescribed by the Statute, and entering into bonds in such sum and with securities, as may be approved by your Honor.

2. It being duly proved that David Potter named in the foregoing order as having deceased, has departed this life, and no person having appeared to oppose the granting of letters of administration upon the estate of said deceased, or to object to the appointment of said George B. Welsh as Administrator of said Estate or to show cause why the prayer of said Petitioner should not be allowed, it is ordered that the same be granted, provided the said George B. Welsh first file in this Court his bond as such Administrator in the form required by law, in the penal sum of Two Thousand Dollars, with security or securities therein, to be approved by the Clerk.
3. Pursuant to the last foregoing order, the said George B. Welsh cames and presents in said Court, for the approval and acceptance of said Court, his bond as Administrator of he Estate of said deceased, in the penal sum of Two Thousand Dollars, signed and sealed by himself s principal and by Thomas Potter as security; and said bond appearing to be in due form of law, and the security therein being deemed sufficient and satisfactory, it is thereupon ordered that the same be and it is hereby approved and accepted.
4. The said George B. Welsh then in said Court took and subscribed an oath in the form required by law, well and truly well and truly to perform his duties as Administrator as aforesaid, as follows: I DO SOLEMNLY swear that I will well and truly administer all and singular the goods and chattels, rights, credits and effects of David Potter deceased, and pay all just claims and charges against his estate, so far as his goods, chattels and effects shall extend, and the law charge me; and that I will do and perform all other acts required of me by law, to the best of my knowlede and abilities.

Witnesses were John McCall and Jane Fletcher. Father Richard Fletcher a coalminer. Both working at Flinton Hill Farm.³ John Potter died on 28 January 1940 at 9 Front St, E, Penshaw, Durham, England, at age 86.⁴

     Leatha Crawford was born on 4 October 1896 at Chandler, Lincoln County, Oklahoma.² On 15 January 1913 Leatha Crawford married John Alexander Potter, son of Thomas Steele Potter and Adda Eudora Egelston, at Chandler, Lincoln County, Oklahoma.² Leatha Crawford and John Alexander Potter were divorced before April 1930.³ On 26 April 1930 Leatha was proprietor of a hotel at Raton City, Colfax County, Oklahoma.³ She died on 23 July 1944 at Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, New Mexico, at age 47.² She was buried at Wellston, Lincoln County, Oklahoma.²

     Mildred Beatrice Potter was born on 2 October 1913 at Chandler, Lincoln County, Oklahoma.¹ On 5 October 1931 Mildred Beatrice Potter married Joseph Dell Orr at Raton, Colfax County, New Mexico.² Before 1947 Mildred Beatrice Potter married Theodore Ellsworth Cook.¹ Mildred Beatrice Potter died on 4 May 1947 at Pueblo, Pueblo County, Colorado, at age 33.² She was buried at Chandler, Lincoln County, Oklahoma.²

     Joseph Dell Orr was born on 23 June 1909 at Glenwood Springs, Garfield County, Colorado.^2,3 On 5 October 1931 Joseph Dell Orr married Mildred Beatrice Potter, daughter of John Alexander Potter and Leatha Crawford, at Raton, Colfax County, New Mexico.⁴ Joseph Dell Orr married second Nellie Gertrude Heller on 27 August 1955 at Raton, Colfax County, New Mexico.⁴ Joseph Dell Orr died on 18 January 1985 at Wilcox, Cochise County, Arizona, at age 75.^4,3 He was buried on 23 January 1985 at Salida, Chaffee County, Colorado.⁴

     Theodore Ellsworth Cook was born on 14 May 1892 at Lane, Kansas.¹ Before 1947 Theodore Ellsworth Cook married Mildred Beatrice Potter, daughter of John Alexander Potter and Leatha Crawford.² Theodore Ellsworth Cook died on 11 November 1956 at Pueblo, Pueblo County, Colorado, at age 64.¹

     Lee R. Potter married Opal Louise Wiese.³ Lee R. Potter was born on 13 July 1927 at Warrick, Oklahoma.³ He was born circa 1928 at Oklahoma.¹ He died on 23 February 2016 at Joplin, Jasper County, Missouri.³

     David Henry Potter was born on 14 November 1893 at Chandler, Lincoln County, Oklahoma.^1,2 On 1 July 1916 David Henry Potter married Bessie Evaline Deatherage.³ On 1 September 1924 David Henry Potter married Violet Hazel Mace at Pueblo, Pueblo County, Colorado.⁴ David Henry Potter died on 14 October 1975 at Canon City, Fremont County, Colorado, at age 81.^3,5,4 He was buried at Lakeside Cemetery, Section 45, Block 19, Lot 4, Grave 2, Canon City, Fremont County, Colorado.⁶

     Edward Lee Potter was born on 22 December 1895 at Chandler, Lincoln County, Oklahoma.^1,2 On 11 February 1922 Edward Lee Potter married Georgia Alverna Stonebraker.^1,3
     On 29 July 1945, Edward Lee Potter gave away the bride at the wedding of Nelson Whitlock Navarre and Evelyn Alberta Potter at the Wheeling Avenue Christian Church, Tulsa, Tulsa County, Oklahoma.⁴ Edward Lee Potter died on 23 March 1983 at Tulsa, Tulsa County, Oklahoma, at age 87.^2,3

     Arthur S. Potter was born on 4 September 1897 at Chandler, Lincoln County, Oklahoma.^1,3 On 9 June 1925 Arthur S. Potter married Eleanor Oliver.^4,5 Arthur S. Potter died in December 1979 at age 82.⁶

     Everett Roscoe Potter was born on 10 August 1910 at Chandler, Lincoln County, Oklahoma.⁴ In 1929 Everett Roscoe Potter married Jewel Hearst.^5,6 Circa 1943? Hübner and Amelia Schandel, at Minneapolis, Minnesota.^1,8,9,5
     One time Alfred, Mabel, and Chuck went to visit "Uncle Charley" and "Aunt Anna" Schandel. Anna was in bed so they didn't see her. Charley and Anna's daughter Lydia lived with them at the time.^10,11 Mabel Junetta Hauger witnessed the death-bad of Alfred John Huebner on 18 March 1967 at Moorhead, Clay County, Minnesota.^1,2,3,12 Mabel Junetta Hauger appears in a group photo of Anthony "Bud" Huebner and his sisters-in-law at a reunion circa 1976. She appears in a group photo of surviving children and daughers-in-law of Theodore and Amelia (Schandel) Huebner in 1978. She attended the funeral of William Anthony Huebner on 16 January 1980 at St. Joseph, Moorhead, Clay County, Minnesota.¹³ Mabel Junetta Hauger died on 1 January 1999 at Clay County, Minnesota, at age 95. Her daughter Patty wrote, "She died New Years Day. Kathy was home for a few days then. I'd put a ham in for noon & we'd invited Kurts over. When we got the call that she was sinking she & I went right over. Mom was unresponsive to our touch or voices. We stayed awhile & the nurse said it could be hrs or days so we ret. home & prepared the rest of the meal. We were all here when the call came that she'd just taken her last breath. I know she's w/ the Lord & that is a great comfort. Now w/ her care giving resp. over I can concentrate on Clays."^5,14,15

The funeral for Mabel Junetta Hauger was held on 6 January 1999 at Christ the King Lutheran Church, Moorhead, Clay County, Minnesota, at 2:00. Revs. Kathy and Matthew Valan officiated, with music by organist Jo Marie Fike and soloist August Frisk. The casket bearers were Mike Erickson, Joel Huebner, Jonathan Huebner, Steven Huebner, Kurt Sandeen, and Charles Theis. The arrangements were made by Korsmo Funeral Service in Moorhead.^5,4 She was buried on 6 January 1999 at East Salem Lutheran Cemetery, Hitterdal, Clay County, Minnesota.^5,4

     Lloyd Leroy Erickson was born on 28 October 1923.^3,4 On 15 December 1950 Lloyd Leroy Erickson married Joan Agatha Huebner, daughter of Alfred John Huebner and Mabel Junetta Hauger, at Minneapolis, Minnesota.^1,5,6 Lloyd Leroy Erickson attended the funeral of William Anthony Huebner on 16 January 1980 at St. Joseph, Moorhead, Clay County, Minnesota.⁷ Lloyd Leroy Erickson and Joan Agatha Huebner were divorced on 26 July 1983.^8,3 Lloyd Leroy Erickson died on 22 August 2013 at age 89.⁴ He was buried at Section CC1 Row 9 Site 33A, Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota.⁴

On 9 September 1958 John Dennis Huebner married Blanche Martha Mitchell, daughter of Robert Mitchell and Blanche Louvau, at Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida.^1,4,6 John Dennis Huebner and Blanche Martha Mitchell were divorced before 1981.^7,4 John Dennis Huebner married second Joan Leonard on 19 May 1982.^3,2 John Dennis Huebner died on 6 December 2009 at Gateway Living Center, Springfield, Oregon, at age 78.^5,8 He was buried at Veterans Memorial Gardens, Roseburg, Oregon.⁸
