George ENSLIN was born June 1770 but it is unsure if he was born in America or Germany.
He came from Newport Township in Northumberland Co. Pennsylvania. He was in Canaan Township, Wayne Co. PA by January 7, 1797
when he purchased 50 acres for 50 pounds from Hans Ulrich Swingle.

He married Catharine 'Kate' SWINGLE, daughter of Johann 'Hans'
