My great great grandfather was Albert H. Sanderson ( 1832-1904) from Chester Mass. His parents were Calvin Sanderson (1796-1846) and Polly Bacon (1792-1880), both of whom were born in Chester Mass. Polly Bacon's parents were Timothy Bacon and Rebecca Payn (Paine, Payne, b. 1760). Timothy Bacon's parent's were Ebenezer Bacon (b 1721) and Rebecca Blackman (b. 1725).

Which brings me to you if Samuel Blackman ( #71818) is actually Rebecca Blackman who married Ebenezer Blackman (#71819). I have their marriage date as June 1745 in Soughton, Mass.

For awhile Timothy Bacon and his wife were a mystery, but I found a good article in The Mayflower Quarterly, March 2010, "The Payn and Bacon Families Meet In Western Massachusetts," written by Mary Ellen Scarborough. It was so well footnoted that it settled the confusions over the Bacon side of the family.
