Dianne Cecelia Williams, 66, of Grants Pass died Wednesday, February 11, 2009, at Three Rivers Community Hospital.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Saturday at St. Anne Catholic Church, with Msgr. Gregory Moys officiating. Chapel of the Valley – L.B. Hall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences to the family may be sent to www.chapel-valley.com.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Frederick’s Conference for St. Vincent de Paul Dining Room, 132 SE ‘H” Street, Grants Pass, OR 97526 or to the Humane Society.
She was born June 10, 1942 in Los Angeles, Calif. to Don and Rose Houghton. She graduated from Eagle Rock High School. She came to Grants Pass in 1970 from Manhattan Beach, Calif. She was a manicurist for 25 years.
Dianne was an active member of St. Anne Catholic Church. She loved to sing and was a member of the Sweet Adelines and the In Accord Ensemble. She also enjoyed gardening, crafts, baking and spending time with family and church activities.
Survivors include her son, Kevin Williams of Milwaukie, Ore; her sister, Carole R. Shaw of Grants Pass; two grandchildren, John Williams and Melissa Smith both of Portland; four nieces, Courtney Clark of Medford, Don Don Williams of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, Deanna Janik, Kathy Mahr and Randi Ritsch, all of Grants Pass.
