Richard was a graduate of Northwestern University and earned an MBA from Western Michigan University. He served his country with honor in the U.S. Marine Corp. Richard is survived by his adoring wife, Gail; his loving children, Richard III, Kristen and Paul; his grandchildren, Bridgit and Ian; and his son-in-law, Thomas. He also leaves behind his sister, Nancy; his nephew, Rob; and nieces, Robin and Tracy. Rich lived his life to the fullest, and always on his own terms. He met every challenge with strength, passion, determination, grace and wit. He strived for excellence, never compromising his moral and ethical standards. He will be deeply missed.
