MLM: He turned in for the alarm at Lexington and served in the Revol. like his father. Enlisted Apr., 1775, under Capt. Benjamin Houghton's Co., Col. John Whitcomb's Reg. He responded to the call to arms and was stationed at Cambridge under Capt. Haskell (Andrew), same Reg., under Gen. Artemas Ward at the seige of Boston. Her was wounded in the knee at Bunker Hill, receiving both bullett and bayonet wounds. The soldiers had less than 20 rounds of powder per man for the seige of 10 months |
