Mail List Digest Reader

Mail List Digest Reader

DIGEST is a freeware program I developed that converts email digests into HTML files. The converted digest file can be viewed using your favorite web browser. It runs under MS/DOS on PC compatibles. The combination of DIGEST with a web browser provides for an efficient method for reading email digests.

The digest index is converted into links that allow you to instantly jump to a message of interest. After reading the message you can click on the subject line to get back to the index.

Email addresses and web addresses are converted to hyperlinks so that you can easily respond to a message, or jump to an interesting web site.

You can define a list of keywords which DIGEST will search for. If a keyword is found in a message, it will be appended to the subject entry in the index. In this way, DIGEST will automatically search for surnames, and other words that you are interested in.

If you do not have pkunzip on your system you will need to get it. Click here to download a shareware version of the pkzip utilities.
