Family names include Hammond, VanWickel, Huson, Smith.

William Henry Hammond was b. 16 February 1853 in New York.  He d. 03 July, 1887 in New York.  His parents were Mary Louisa Robbins and Joseph Henry Hammond (b. 29 September 1824 in Boston, MA).  Mary and Joseph were married on 26 November 1850.  Joseph was a successful businessman in the shoe and leather business at Blackstone Street in Boston.  He moved to New York in 1847.   Joseph's parents were Sarah Elizabeth Hooper from Boston, and Joseph Lincoln Hammond (b. 24 October 1801, d. 19 March 1855).

Adeline DeVoe VanWickel was b. 22 June 1858 in Corona, NY and died on 15 May 1913 in Greenwich, CT.  She is buried in the cemetery at the First Congregational Church in Old Greenwich, CT.  Addie's parents were Hannah R. Simmons and Edward Leverich VanWickel (b. Corona, NY).

William Hammond and Addie VanWickel were married on 29 October 1879 in Corona, NY.

They had 5 children.

This is Alice Abbie Smith taken 1954.

Alice was born 11 June 1867 in Hoboken, NJ.  Her parents were Isaac Smith and Harriet J. Naylor (b. abt. 1817).

Alice married William Casper Huson (b. 28 February 1867 in Bergen, NJ).  William's parents were Isaiah Artemas Huson (b. 19 October 1833 Lorraine, NY) and Catherine Louise Morris.  According to the IGI, Isaiah and Catherine were married on 25 March 1860 in Hoboken, Ostsego Co, NY.

Alice and William were married on 09 March 1887 in New Brunswick, NJ.  They raised two daughters in Ocean Grove, NJ.  Their daughters were Gladys Huson and Ruth Alice Huson. 

This is Ruth Alice Huson taken in 1954.

Ruth was b 19 January, 1889 possibly in Jersey City.  She was raised in Ocean Grove, Monmouth Co, NJ.

She was married and had 7 children, raising the family in Old Greenwich, CT.  Ruth was a saleslady at Spencer's.

Ruth died 31 December 1973 in Greenwich, CT.
