             Hi,
I just joined this list.  This is my line of the
Hollinger family.
I am a descendant of Joseph Hollinger, b.Feb 6, 1819
in Dauphin co., PA and his wife Elizabeth or Lizzie
Balsbaugh, b.Aug 30 1824.  I descend from their
daughter Lizzie who married Philip Etter in PA and
then came to Fulton Co., IL
I am looking for either Joseph and his wife's
ancestors or any of their descendants.

Joseph Hollinger was b. Feb 6, 1819 in PA
m.Elizabeth/Lizzie Balsbaugh abt 1844 and d. Jan 24
1900.  I have his obit.  His obit states that they
have four children, three living at the time of his
death which are  Abe. B, Elizabeth Etter and Fannie
Gruber.  According to Elizabeth (Balsbaugh)
Hollinger's obit, her and Joseph came to Illinois in
1881. Also from her obit, she would have been born abt
1824. From what is on the 1850 census, that would make
her d.o.b. a year or two off, but the children and
Joseph's age look like this would be this family.
I found some information on the net at
www.familysearch.org.  I would like to verify the
information that is there.
I also have some copies from a book that is at our
local gen. center titled Burgard Hollinger Families,
but part of it is hard to follow and is also a little
different from what I found on the net.  That is also
why I am trying to get more information so I can see
which one is correct.
The descendants of Joseph Hollinger and Elizabeth
Balsbaugh, is from local information and I feel is
correct, but there are missing family members in what
I have so far.
