Looking over the RootsWeb archives for Hollinger, and wonder if you
can
see any of your Hollinger information relating to this:
We've just discovered that we're looking for a Hollinger! We just
learned
that Bill's "Wood" ancestor Green Mark Wood (probably born in 1814
in
Georgia), thought to have been the son of Major Green and Nancy
Hall
Wood, may have actually been a Hollinger. The will of his
"grandmother"
Elizabeth Eason Morton Wood (around 1834 in Montgomery
Co AL) stated
that "Green Mark Hollinger is to be treated as a grandson." We realize
that
this may be tough to impossible to trace, since there is probably
a good
chance that his mother was a Hollinger and that he may be a natural
son
of
Green Wood.
Any ideas? Look forward to hearing from you --
