Nicanor Manlapig

     Nicanor Manlapig was born on 3 January 1900 at San Miguel, Bulacan, Phillipines. He was the son of Eugenio Manlapig and Maria Madonnna Sese. He joined the U.S. Navy, during W.W.I. on 11 June 1918. He lived in Oklahoma, after the Navy. He was a bookkeeper at Oklahoma City, OK..⁷ He married Estella May Treadway, daughter of William Lafayette Treadaway and Malinda Edmona Loftis, on 10 April 1923. He became a naturalized citizen on 29 February 1924 at San Antonio, TX.. He was a patient at the Veterans Hospital in 1930 at Prescott, AZ.. He died on 18 September 1944 at Veteran's Hospital, Portland, OR., at age 44. He was buried at Dunsmuir, CA..
