     Ansel Waldo Fletcher was born on 20 November 1847 at Littleton, MA.. He was the son of Amos Fletcher and Clarissa "Clara" Ann Ferson. He served in the Civil War, Co. M, 1st Regt. NH. Heavy Artillery. He enlisted 27 Feb 1865 and mustered out 9 June 1865. He was a stone cutter in the marble mine. He married Victoria Dupray, daughter of Francis "Frank" Dupray and Victoria (---), on 5 June 1878 at Boston, MA..12 He and Victoria Dupray were divorced in May 1882 at Manchester, NH.. He married Hattie M. Rowell, daughter of Caleb A. Rowell, on 16 October 1882 at Nashua, NH..13 He was admitted to National Home for Disabled Veterans in January 1917 at Hot Springs, SD.. He died on 25 December 1918 at Battle Mt Sanitarium, Hot Springs, Fall River Co, SD., at age 71.14,11 He was buried at Woodlawn Cemetery, Nashua, NH..15
