Hugh Jones

     Hugh Jones was born on 12 March 1855 at Moeladda, Merionethshire, Wales. He was the son of Robert Jones and Mary Jones. He lived in the Waen fawr farm in Merionethsire, until about 1863. At age 8, after his father died, he moved with his mother to his uncle's farm, Pendre, Llangwm. He lived on the Pendre Farm the rest of his life. He married Margaret Parry, daughter of John Parry and Annie Roberts, on 20 May 1882.² He died on 16 May 1930 at Pendre, Llangwm, Denbigh, Wales, at age 75. He was buried at Capel Cefn Nannau, Llangwm, Wales.
