Jack Henderson:

I was born at an early age, in what was known as the Indian Territory not too many years before. The area is now the Great State of Oklahoma.

I spent my early life on a farm, learning how to get old at a young age. This convinced me to learn a trade that would get me off of the farm and hopefully allow me to see other parts of the world. I have spent a good part of the rest of my time here on earth following two full but different types of careers. And, yes I have seen a large part of this old world of ours.

Now I am an old Gray Head, and trying to decipher dad's hand written notes and copied bits of newspapers and such. As usual for old gray heads, I have my Tizm's, and all. Also have a bad back from too many years in places that people should not have to be. In this passage of time I have developed a desire to know more about my ancestors, and I am afraid, I contracted that well known and incurable illness called the Genealogy Bug. After my journey's about the world, my lovely wife and I have settled down in the San Francisco Bay California Area. Wonderful year around weather as a rule, and lovely vistas from all sides of our small house.

In my search, I have been lucky to find several close and not too close cousins who are also on the same trail as I and who have their own cache of data and such. In our comparisons, we find a lot to agree about, and a lot to disagree about.

This disagreement and the problem of finding the truth was the start of the idea for this site.

You will find that I do not know grammar, and do use a lot of sling and southern words that some others will not be able to understand without an interpreter. I will try to keep it close to the English that most of the USofA uses.

I also am not an html programer as you will soon see. This will cause a lot of confusion and frustration during the construction of this site. I beg your forgiveness for this up front.

As this is a alpha attempt for a site "style" to help all who work at genealogy, the general direction and style of the site will change frequently until the proper direction is obtained. Not that I think up front that the proper style is not possible with the tools I presently have on my old computer.

Let us then go on and get some work done.
