1.HENRY WALLBROWN

 

    Henry Wallbrown was born in Germany January 14, 1836 and died in

Calhoun County WV November 25, 1923.  He came to Baltimore MD from

Germany in 1854.  He married Elizabeth Mittendorf in MD in 1861 or

1862.   Elizabeth was born in Germany April 15, 1838 and died in

Calhoun County December 21, 1906.

    In 1870, the Wallbrowns were living in York County PA.  By

1880, they had bought property in Calhoun County and moved there

shortly thereafter.

Michael Wallbrown, a son of Henry and Elizabeth (Mittendorf) Wallbrown, was born in PA in June 1863 and died in Calhoun County WV in 1936. He married Mary Matilda Sampson in Calhoun County WV September 15, 1887. Matilda, a daughter of Harvey George and Rachel Diana (Cottrill) Sampson, was born in Calhoun County in July 1871.

    Henry Wallbrown, a son of Henry and Elizabeth (Mittendorf)

Wallbrown, was born in Butler County PA in 1868.  He married Bertha

Brooks October 30, 1892.  His second wife was Essie Morgan.  Essie, a

daughter of James West and Rosalie (Booher) Morgan, was born June 7,

1898 and died march 2, 1988.

    Frank Wallbrown, a son of Henry and Elizabeth (Mittendorf)

Wallbrown, was born in Butler County PA March 27, 1870 and died

in Roane County WV July 2, 1936.  He married Elizabeth Starcher

April 21, 1895 in Calhoun County WV.  Elizabeth, a daughter of

W.S. and Nancy (Reed) Starcher, was born February 6, 1876 and

died in Roane County September 21, 1954.

    John Wallbrown, a son of Henry and Elizabeth (Mittendorf)

Wallbrown, was born in 1874 and died in 1950.  He married Osa Parsons

November 11, 1900.  Osa, a daughter of Joseph P. and Elizabeth Jane

(Cooper) Parsons, was born in 1883 and died in 1923.

    William Henry Wallbrown, a son of Henry and Elizabeth (Mittendorf) Wallbrown, was born in Calhoun County WV November 6, 1884 and died there in 1965.  He married Grace Maude Price April 6, 1906.  Grace, a daughter of William P. and Kathryn (Booth) Price, was born in Calhoun County August 20, 1886.

    Kenna Wallbrown, a son of Frank and Elizabeth (Starcher) Wallbrown, was born in Calhoun County WV January 22, 1898 and died there June 6, 1961.  He married Icy Hall February 13, 1921.  Icy, a daughter of John C. and Diana (Lynch) Hall, was born in Calhoun County January 9, 1902 and was living in 1989.

    Henry Scott Wallbrown, a son of Frank and Elizabeth (Starcher) Wallbrown, was born in Calhoun County WV March 17, 1900 and was killed in Muskingum County OH in May 1928.  He married Lena Belle Smith in Washington County PA.  Lena, a daughter of George Samuel Porter and Margaret Ellen (Richey) Smith, was born in 1905 and died in 1988.
