Bernard Martin
is best described by both friends and family as a
kind and extremely intelligent man. He excelled
academically and
professionally and as well excelling in the organizations

he was a member of. After his stint as Grand Chancellor
of the Knights
of Pythias Virginia Conference, he devoted much time to
his family and
his church. He had a flaring temper but it took much to
provoke him to
display it. Some of the best times of the authors life
were spent
with her father Bernard. His children lost much when he
passed away.
