He married Lydia Flesher May 10, 1819. Lydia, a daughter of Isaac and
Elizabeth (Bonnett) Flesher, was born in Harrison County
VA (WV)
January 27, 1802 and died in Roane County WV July 8,
1887.
The family
settled on Mill Creek in Jackson County VA (WV) and
lived there until about 1832, when they went to Knox
County Ohio.
About 1842, they returned to Jackson county and in 1855,
they moved to
New California (Now Spencer) in Roane County VA
(WV). The family
moved to Roane County VA (WV) in 1855.
