1.THOMAS MASTERSON
Thomas
Masterson was born in MD in 1770 and died in Fayette County
VA in 1834. He married Jane McClung in Greenbrier County
VA December
1, 1791. Jane, a daughter of Joseph and Margaret (Bell)
McClung, was
born in VA in 1766 and died in Fayette County in 1834.
Thomas came
from Rockbridge County VA to Greenbrier County in his
youth. The family bought 200 acres of land on the South
side of Gauley
River in Greenbrier County. He was a member of the court
that was
sworn to establish Nicholas county VA in 1818. When
Fayette county VA
was organized in 1831, the family property was in the new
county.
Thus, the family lived in three counties without ever
having moved.

Samuel Arminius
Masterson, a son of Thomas and Jane (Mcclung)
Masterson, was born in Greenbrier County VA about 1795
and died in Smith
County KS in 1871. He married Elizabeth Vandal.
Known children of Samuel Arminius and Elizabeth (Vandal)
Masterson.

Margaret Belle
Masterson, a daughter of Thomas and Jane (Mcclung)
Masterson, was born in Greenbrier County VA about 1805
and died in 1849.
She married Charles Campbell December 14, 1926.
Known children of Charles and Margaret Bell (Masterson)
Campbell.
