Samuel and Nancy moved from MD to VA about 1830 and established

their home at Freemansburg, Lewis County VA.

Elizabeth Catherine Lovett, a daughter of Samuel and Nancy (Dawson)

Lovett, was born in MD June 3, 1837 and died in Lewis County October 17,

1895. She married a widower, James Monroe Hall, in Lewis County May 23,

1865. James, a son of Richard and Mary "Polly" (Bailey) Hall, was born

May 16 1820 and died July 19, 1895. He married Nancy E. Burnside. Nancy

was born in Va in 1822 and died in 1863.

Children of James Monroe and Nancy E. (Burnside) Hall.
