Kee.  He probably had at least one other marriage.

    John Kee was born about 1817.  He married Harriet Lorentz about

1837.  Harriet, a daughter of Jacob and Rebecca (Stalnaker) Lorentz,

was born about 1823. This was apparently a second marriage for John.

George W.L. Kee, a son of John Kee, was born in VA about 1836. He married Nancy ----. Nancy was born in VA about 1838.

    James Perry Kee, a son of John and Harriet (Lorentz) Kee, was born

about 1838. He married Harriet J. -----. Harriet was born in VA about 1838.

6.JASPER NEWTON KEE   1.JOHN KEE

 

Jasper Newton Kee, a son of John and Harriet (Lorentz) Kee, was born in March 1844 in Lewis County, VA and died in 1924 in Gilmer County WV. He married Louisa Campbell February 26, 1866 Gilmer County WV. Louisa, a daughter of John A. and Clarinda (Ayers) Campbell, was born January 1848 in Gilmer County VA and died in 1921 in Gilmer County, WV.

    Alfred Newton "Bub" Kee, a son of James Perry Kee, was born in

Lewis County WV September 6, 1863 and died in Roane County WV May 8,

1957.  He married Electra Catharine Robinson September 16, 1883 in

Lewis County.  Electra was born in 1865 and died in 1938.

    The family moved from Lewis County WV to Roane County about 1891.

16.WILLIAM KEE  6.JASPER NEWTON KEE   1.JOHN KEE

 

William “Willie” Kee, a son of Jasper Newton and Louisa (Campbell) Kee, was born in WV January 18, 1866 and died April 16, 1948. He married Julia Ann Reed in Gilmer County WV April 30, 1908. Julia, a daughter of Lewis Strickland and Joanna Eleanor (Goff) Reed, was born in Gilmer County WV February 2, 1877 and died August 2, 1949.  She married Will Kee April 30, 1908.

Harriet Kee, a daughter of Jasper Newton and Louisa (Campbell) Kee, was born in 1868 in Gilmer County, WV and died November 15, 1942 in Kanawha County WV. She married Elliot Buchanan Chenoweth August 14, 1888 in Gilmer County, WV. Elliot, a son of David Washington and Caroline (Mollohan) Chenoweth, was born August 16, 1857 in Calhoun County VA and died in 1937 in , Gilmer County, WV.

Dee Kee, a daughter of Jasper Newton and Louisa (Campbell) Kee, was born in 1871 in Gilmer County, WV and died there in 1922. She married Washington Warrne September 13, 1895 in Gilmer County, WV. He was born in 1853 in Wood County, VA and died in 1918 in Gilmer County, WV.

19.JOHN KEE   6.JASPER NEWTON KEE   1.JOHN KEE

 

John Kee, a son of Jasper Newton and Louisa (Campbell) Kee, was born August 22, 1874 in Gilmer County WV and died May 08, 1951 in Washington D.C.. He married Maude Etta Elizabeth Simpkins in 1926. Maude was born June 07, 1895 in  Montgomery County VA and died February 15, 1975 in Mercer County, WV.

      John was elected as a Democrat to the Seventy-third and to the nine succeeding Congresses and served from march 4, 1933 until his death in Washington D.C., May 8, 1951.

John and Maude are buried in Monte Vista Cemetery, Bluefield, W.Va.

Edrier Kee, a daughter of Jasper Newton and Louisa (Campbell) Kee, was born December in 1880 in Gilmer County, WV. She married Lee F. Anderson June 25, 1917 in Gilmer County, WV. He was born in 1878 in Harrison County, WV.

Odessa Kee, a daughter of Jasper Newton and Louisa (Campbell) Kee, was born in January 1883 in WV. She married William O. Flesher August 10, 1910 in Gilmer County, WV. He was born in 1885 in Meigs County, Ohio.
