    Alden Swift Bissell, a son of Hiram and Elizabeth (Tubbs)

Bissell, was born in Meigs County Ohio October 9, 1832 and died

in Roane County WV October 22, 1896.  He married Elizabeth Dobson

in Ohio September 14, 1856.  Elizabeth, a daughter of John and

Judith Dobson, was born in Sandusky, Ohio June 6, 1833 and died

in Cincinnati, Ohio June 11, 1887.

    The family moved from Meigs County Ohio to Roane County WV in

October 1872 and settled on Henry's Fork.

    Alden married Ellen Brannon May 21, 1891.  Ellen was born

July 4, 1862.

and died in roane County WV December 12, 1924.  He married Belle

Sheba Starcher.  Belle, a daughter of Josiah Paine and Nancy Jane

(Nicholas) Starcher, was born November 25, 1868 and died in Roane

County April 8, 1932.

and died in Arlington, VA April 26, 1964.  She married Doyle

Keffer May 20, 1918.  Doyle was killed in France in World War I.

    Zeoshal married Albert F. Dudschus in Kanawha County WV

September 27, 1926.
