Jacob Boehm, a son of Samuel and Elizabeth (Funk) Boehm, was born in 1746 in Frederick County VA and died September 11, 1798 in Shenandoah County VA. He married Mary Burner in 1772 Shenandoah County VA. Mary was born in 1750 in Page County VA.

Samuel Boehm, a son of Jacob and Mary (Burner) Boehm, was born in 1778 in Shenandoah Country VA and died there April 21, 1848. He married Catherine Miller November 14, 1804 in Shenandoah County. Catherine was born about 1784 in Shenandoah County.

Samuel married Anna Boehm about 1810. Anna was born in Shenadoah County in 1780.

Harrison B. Boehm, a son of Samuel and Anna (Boehm) Boehm, was born about 1820 in Shenandoah County VA and die din Gilmer County WV between 1860 and 1870. He married Mary Ann Peer September 19, 1843 in Shenandoah County. Mary was born in Shenandoah County April 7, 1825 and died in Gilmer County WV after 1870. She is listed in the household of her Son, William H. Beam in the 1870 Gilmer County WV census.

William Harrison Beam, a son of Harrison B. and Mary Ann (Peer) Boehm, was born in VA about 1845. He married Edah H. Willis in Gilmer county WV September 13, 1870. Edah, a daughter of Henderson and Elizabeth Willis, was born in Gilmer County about 1851.

Samuel Wesley Beam, a son of Harrison B. and Mary Ann (Peer) Boehm, was born in Gilmer County VA in August 1849. He married Margaret Catherine Willis in Gilmer County February 8, 1872. Margaret, a daughter of Henderson and Elizabeth Willis, was born in Gilmer County in May 1854.

      The family is listed in the 1900 Gilmer County WV census. They had been married 28 years, Margaret was the mother of 9 children with 8 living.
