Joseph Huffnail Family History

This page is dedicated to the descendants of Joseph HUFFNAIL (also listed as Jobst, Jeptha, or Jobet HOFFNAGLE/HUFFNAGLE/HUFFNEGLE) He was a member of Sir John Johnston's King's Royal Regiment of New York (K.R.R.N.Y.) He was a Loyalist as well as his son, Andrew.

First Generation

Joseph HUFFNAIL was born 1724 in Germany and died Mar 1785 in Fredericksburgh, Lennox & Addington County, Ontario. Before 1767, he married Anna Margaretha "Margaret" GURMANDY. She was born 1726 in Germany and died 1805. Margaret is buried in Old Methodist Church Cemetery, Adolphustown, Lennox & Addington County, Ontario.
