According to the source, FETTERS, John II Whitacre was condemned by the church for marriage contrary to discipline on June 4, 1735. They moved to Kingwood, NJ in 1756, and resettled in Loudoun Co, VA in 1761. Same records indicate John and Naomi received certificate for removal on December 1, 1756.

It is of interest to note that of the 9 children born to John II Whitacre (May 14, 1704 - 1768) and Naomi Hulme (1713 - 1789), 5 of them moved to and died in Ohio. Naomi married Samuel Smith and moved to Jefferson County, Ohio; Joshua married Ann Steer and moved to Columbiana County, Ohio; Joseph married Jane Wilson and moved to Columbiana County, Ohio; Caleb married Phoebe Gore and moved to Warren County, Ohio and Robert married Sarah Roach and moved to Miami, Warren County, Ohio.
