   The funeral service for Henry Siegling, 91, life long resident of Burdette, South Dakota, was held February 17 at Coleman Funeral Home in Redfield with the Rev. Daniel Osterhout and the Rev. Donald Hadrick officiating.
   Pallbearers were nephews: Carroll Schultz, Marvin Schultz and Delton Roeber, all of Tulare, and Milo Siegling, St. Lawrence.
   Honorary pallbearers were George Bottom, Sheldon Bottom, Hubert Bushong, M.A. Nelson, Herman Schultz and Charles Olson, all of Tulare, and Adolph Mast, St. Lawrence.
   Siegling died February 12, 1972 at St. John's Regional Medical Center, Huron, South Dakota.
   He was born August 5, 1880, in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Charles and Bertha (Schmidt) Siegling.  He was confirmed in 1896, in the Lutheran faith at Iowa City. He moved to Burdette in Hand County in the fall of 1902 where he farmed until shortly before his death.
   Siegling married Rosa Schultz [daughter of August and Anna (Leese)] in the fall of 1910. She and an infant daughter died July 11, 1912. He also was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
   Survivors are a sister, Mrs. Walter * (Esther) Schultz and a brother, Otto Siegling, both of Tulare.
