Sarah Glenn McWhorter was born April 29, 1817 in Georgia to William McWhorter and Susannah Sigmon.  Sarah was married about 1838 to Matthew D. Callaway.  After the death of Matthew Sarah was married again to the Rev. Frederick Davis Lott Koen.  Sarah died in 1911 and is buried in Pottsville Cemetery in Hamilton County Texas.

William McWhorter was born May 14, 1782 in Pickens, South Carolina to David McWhirter and Mary Poston.
William was married January 19, 1804 to Susannah Sigmon in Georgia and he died July 5, 1872 in Scott County Mississippi.  The Children of William and Susannah were:

David McWhirter was born 1741 in County Armagh, Ireland and was married March 31, 1766 in Lancaster Co. PA to Mary Poston (Posten).  He died in 1789 in SC.  The children born to David and Mary were:
