Sometimes old photos can raise more questions than they answer. Fortunately for those who will find YOUR photos, you label them all meticulously, right??

These (probably turn of the century) pictures of boats on the river near Antwerp are from Ginny who would appreciate any info about what's going on. (So would we.) 



There's a key factory in the background...when, where?

The Zimmertower (Zimmertoren) in Lier. It's a combination clock/planetarium with 13 dials. At noon, the red door in the center of the right side opens up, and displays portraits of a dozen or so apparently famous folks for a few seconds each. Who are they, and what do the other 12 dials do? Give us a clue.





Some American tourists check out a Kappelleke (small chapel) on the side of the road in Zaventem, near the national airport. Inside the grate is a saint's statue (this one is of Mary). When were these built? How many are left? Are they all this small? What were they for?
